Zinedine Zidane Makes Eden Hazard His Number One TransferTtarget

We already knew Zinedine Zidane was a huge admirer of Eden Hazard - so, it was only a matter of time before one of the big newspapers linked the newly-appointed Real Madrid boss with a move for the out-of-sorts Chelsea winger.

The Sun are the first to claim that Zidane has made Hazard his number one transfer target after replacing Rafael Benitez at the Bernabeu this week.
They go on to state that Zidane is so keen to finance a world-record £100 million deal for the Belgium international that he is prepared to let Gareth Bale complete a move to Manchester United.
Bale is reportedly considering his future at the Bernabeu after Benitez was sacked on Monday - per The Times - and United are keen to bring the Welshman back to the Premier League.
However, Florentino Perez was the man who sanctioned the record-breaking deal for Bale in the summer of 2013 and the Blancos president will be determined to keep the former Tottenham star - who many still regard as Cristiano Ronaldo’s natural heir - in Madrid.
It’s unclear whether or not Hazard is currently happy at Stamford Bridge. The 24-year-old has been well below-par this season - he is still looking to score his first Premier League goal of the campaign - and he could be tempted by the opportunity to leave Chelsea next summer, particularly if the west London outfit fail to secure their place in next season’s Champions League.
Hazard will be acutely aware that Zidane rates him highly. Less than two months ago, Zidane hailed the Belgian as “spectacular” and described him as his favourite player after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

“Do I see him going to Real Madrid? Ask someone else,” he was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail in November. “I love the player and that's all.”
Now the decision over who is signed and who leaves Real Madrid is down to Zidane.
Chelsea may have a job holding on to their star man between now and the end of the summer transfer window.
